I saw this project on Once Wed and besides thinking that they come up with such great things for you to do yourself, I also thought how these crepe paper medallions could be used for gift tags on party favors or gifts for any occassion. I also thought this would be such a great project for my niece and I to do but I’m sure I’ll probably do all the work and she’ll take the credit 🙂

If you’re planning a wedding or shower, somewhere in there you should have made a trip to Michaels and shopped like a mad person in the Martha Stewart Crafts section.  Everytime I walk into this section I have the need to fill my cart with every kit, paper, ribbon, twine even if I have no party to host. Here’s a mosaic of my favorite items right now.

We’re starting a new feature on PSC called Wedding Bits  Since I have a few friends and family getting married I thought why not share lovely little wedding bits that can make yours or their weddings lovely. 

I was looking through Modern Bride magazine and discovered Cream City Ribbon.  What I love about them is that their ribbons are all biodegradable.  If you’re giving wedding favors or wrapping gifts for your wedding party, or using them for your invitations, go green and choose Cream City Ribbons.

It’s been a minute since I’ve shared a favorite font. This one is called Candy Script.  This would be perfect for itemizing candies for a candy bar at a wedding.  If you decided to give out chocolate bars as a party favor and decide to design your own wrapping, use this font.  It would also be a great font for an invitation too.  There are so many ways to use this font in a design.  Just let your imagination run wild.

Font Crush

Its been busy at People St. Clair.  We’ve been working on a summer collection and we’re so excited about the new and lovely things we’ll be adding to the shoppe.  Until then here is a new font crush and this font would be perfect for a party invite.  I may have to use it for a few parties coming up for summer.
