Every year around the holiday’s my Mother makes a delicious rum cake that disappears after a day. When I saw this recipe, I thought what could be better than this sinfully delicious treat?  Who needs a holiday to make one of these? I’m sure it will give my mother’s rum cake a run for it’s money.

 While perusing Not Martha , I stumbled upon these. As we all know anything sweet will defintely stop me in my tracks but these are just so adorable I had to put them on my list of “must bakes.” Now, me and my experimental side wonders… could I do this with peach cobbler? Hmmm. I’ll keep you posted, until then enjoy and bake as well.

PS. For all you hip hostesses out there, this would be a delightful dessert for a dinner party.

Since my photo file is full of photos for inspiration, blogging and all other things in between, its not uncommon for me to think I’ve talked about something only to learn its just waiting in the wings ready to be posted.  I’ve shared with you my new found interest in the blog milk and cookies. Now, I have to share with you this delectable sweet treat that is a twist on the classic strawberry shortcake.  Now if I can only find time to make it myself.

Any book titled Cake Love has to be good.  This book happens to be by the baker and owner of the well-known bakery Cake Love and all I can say is how glad I am that Cake Love owner, Warren Brown took all those delectable treats from his bakery and placed them in a cookbook
