I know, I thought the same thing when I discovered this post from In This Instance.  But as I thought about it a little more, its actually a great idea.  Wedding websites can be expensive especially if your trying to stay within your budget.  Why not create a static blog page or blog that you can include all the information about your wedding as well as leading up to your wedding for family and friends for free.  This inexpensive alternative may be an ideal way to not only chronicles your journey but also inform your guest of your pending nuptials.  For more inspiration and tips for creating your own DIY wedding website visit here.
